I am resisting the end of summer with some more fabulous additions to the range currently in Battle Bygones... these jewels definitely represent plenty more blue skies, sandy beaches and clear seas for me!
Unfortunately my organised mind won't let me sit back on the lounger for long, and work has begun of the final third of the year... look out for some autumnal mustard & purple followed by some sparkly bits to liven up winter.
I'll also be introducing a new range of jewels based entirely on recycling and repairing - I'm especially excited about this selection and really hope it will become an interactive experience! xxx

Last but not least

Its the bank holiday weekend, which always makes me happy (especially as I have tomorrow off too!) but also slightly sad as Autumn is now only just around the corner, and I do love a bit of warmth with my sunshine! Still, the mood is full on sunny at Battle Bygones, and these are the last two photos of jewellery for this month... The earring stand is looking particularly colourful with a great mix of lampwork beads and freshwater pearls.  Enjoy the long weekend if you can xx

Making waves

The Waves Range... Handmade glass beads in graduating blocks of colour, interspaced with recycled glass heishi beads.
Why not pick your own shades for a custom version to suit your wardrobe?!

Full swing

Managed to get everything ready for August and even the photos and labels have been done - holiday well and truly earnt! This month's collection for Battle Bygones includes these stunning handmade lampwork pendants which have such detail, and are hung on adjustable hemp cord. I love the lampwork beads for their individuality and how every bead has its own swirls and depth. Available as a glossy or matt finish, necklaces and bracelets, there is definitely something for everyone...

Summer 2019 - mixing up the recycled with the new

These beautiful strands of recycled glass heishi beads are the most amazing colours and I could probably happily just twist them around my wrist as is!
However, I actually plan on mixing them in with the new collection of handmade lampwork beads, made by a good friend in Cambridge... look out for the new designs coming over the next couple of weeks!

The summer finale!

Lots of new designs ready for Battle Bygones this summer, including this lovely lot! If you see anything you fancy, let me know before it reaches the shop...

Prices start from £10 for necklaces and £3 for bracelets...

Luscious Lampwork

I was recently on searching for the perfect beads for a custom order, and came across a fabulous business in the South of England who produce the most beautiful handmade glass lampwork beads. Every single bead I looked at was gorgeous! So, I bought the beads for my custom order and then immediately ordered some more...
Sadly, many of the beads are a little out of my usual price range, but I will be splashing out on a few of the pendants and larger beads which I will post on arrival. In the meantime, if you love your lampwork and want to discuss possibilities, just shout!
